What is the SlowCard?
The SlowCard is the digital card with which to travel along the Oropa Trail to become part of a community that supports the area and promotes slow and responsible tourism.

- Flexibility: if you want to personally choose where to sleep, we will send you the full list of accommodations (contracted and not) and you will book by email or phone.
- Satisfied or refunded: If accommodations are full and you decide to postpone your trip, you can use the card at another time or request a refund.

The Movimento Lento Association is the Association that manages and maintains the signposting and organize the Oropa Way.
The Oropa Way receives no public funds: through your membership fee you will contribute to the maintenance, signposting, management and promotion of the Way, and to microeconomic and social development in our area.
Of course, your support is very valuable and you can decide to join to support the Oropa Way even without taking advantage of the Booking Center. You will receive all the benefits reserved for members.
The membership card is valid for one calendar year (until 12/31 of the year in which you join).
Our progress is slow but deliberate.
We are a social cooperative-tour operator, a network of individuals and associations in Italy and around the world. Our story began in the late 1990s, when a handful of people began to question the meaning of mass tourism. Traveling and getting to know projects related to fair trade gave birth to the idea of starting a social enterprise that would disrupt the paradigms of tourism and work in direct contact with the civil society of the places visited, with people and associations directly involved in development projects.
