From prehistory to today: entanglements of history of people e of nobility
One walking route and two to be traveled by bicycle, to slowly discover an area, its agricultural productions, landscapes and history.
Thanks to this SloWacanza, on the first day we will walk along the "Path of Wonders," a small miniature walk, complete with credential and stamps at the various stops, designed by a group of passionate villagers to enhance the territory of Albiano d'Ivrea.
On the second day, we will ride our bikes into the heart of Ivrea's Morainic Amphitheater, with an easy ride around the castles of Albiano, Azeglio and Masino, FAI assets where it is worth putting down the bike and visiting the inner halls and the wonderful park.
The last day will be an immersion in nature, a loop around Lake Viverone, to discover local producers and take a dip into ancient history.

How to get there
You can reach Albiano d'Ivrea by arriving by train in Ivrea, which is on the Milan-Turin railway line. The renters of the Cammino di Oropa network will be able to deliver your e-bike directly to you at the station, thanks to which you will be able to reach the village by riding about 10km on secondary roads.

From Ivrea train station, it is possible to reach Albiano d'Ivrea by public transportation services carried out by GTT.

If you are arriving by car (about 1 hour 45 minutes from Milan, 45 minutes from Turin): Santhià-Ivrea freeway junction, exit Albiano d'Ivrea.
You will be able to leave your car in the internal parking lot of the facility.
If you arrive by plane, you will be able to get to Ivrea with the directions below. From there you can get to Albiano d'Ivrea by bus or bicycle, having your rental ebike delivered directly to the Ivrea station.

How to appreciate the Oropa Way every season
During the hot season the first stage can be a bit more strenuous than you might think for mileage and elevation gain because it is largely in the sun. Also, there can be a lot of mosquitoes in the Serra forest, so on the second and third stages we recommend that you carry repellent to keep them away.
