Our progress is slow but deliberate.
We are a social cooperative-tour operator, a network of individuals and associations in Italy and around the world. Our story began in the late 1990s, when a handful of people began to question the meaning of mass tourism. Traveling and getting to know projects related to fair trade gave birth to the idea of starting a social enterprise that would disrupt the paradigms of tourism and work in direct contact with the civil society of the places visited, with people and associations directly involved in development projects.We are a network of more than 100 members between physical and legal entities, in fact a consortium aggregating clients, referrers, workers, projects, volunteers.
We believe in a gentle way of traveling, deep and responsible, attentive to local culture and sustainability, step by step.
Self-guided travel is a mode of travel without a guidebook: we also call them freedom travel, because they allow you to choose not only the itinerary, but also when to leave, who to travel with, at what pace to move, and many other details that come together to compose a vacation that is truly tailored to you.
This mode of travel is known and appreciated in many countries in Europe and around the world: We were born with the idea of bringing it to Italy as well., because we believe it is a beautiful way to travel, perfect for the needs of many travelers who do not like to travel in groups but want to be supported in organizing their vacation and while on the road.
