BeataMente Holistic B&B is a charming Bed and Breakfast between the Bessa Park and the Serra Morenica of Ivrea. Recently renovated, it is located in a characteristic courtyard dating back to the 1800s in the charming village of Torrazzo, in the province of Biella. Torrazzo is an open-air art gallery, located at 622 meters above sea level, nestled in the Ivrea moraine amphitheater, a relief of glacial origin, built by the Dora Baltea glacier, a true geological monument. Tradition has it that the great Carthaginian leader Hannibal, traveling in 218 B.C. from the Aosta Valley to Vercelli, climbed over the Serra to take possession of the gold of the Bessa and settled in Torrazzo.
BeataMente Holistic B&B is located on the Second Stage of the
Oropa Way, a route that starts from the plain and crosses the Serra Morenica, with its enchanted woods and meadows, to arrive on the Biella pre-alpine arc where two great Marian Sanctuaries reside: the Sanctuary of Graglia and the Sanctuary of Oropa.

Our progress is slow but deliberate.
We are a social cooperative-tour operator, a network of individuals and associations in Italy and around the world. Our story began in the late 1990s, when a handful of people began to question the meaning of mass tourism. Traveling and getting to know projects related to fair trade gave birth to the idea of starting a social enterprise that would disrupt the paradigms of tourism and work in direct contact with the civil society of the places visited, with people and associations directly involved in development projects.
